Lazy 5 Ranch

The Three and Four Year Old Departments took a trip to Lazy 5 Ranch in Mooresville in April and had a great time!  Though some of the kids were a little timid around the animals at first, everyone warmed up to them in the end and loved feeding them from the wagon.

Some of us even got to pet the zebra and giraffes!  We also owe a big thanks to all the parents who joined us for this fun trip!!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

The Three and Four Year Old Departments celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday on March 2nd by making “Cat in the Hat” hats to wear, hearing a Dr. Seuss story, and even eating green eggs and ham!  The kids had a good time celebrating this day and trying something new.  Most of them agreed that even green, eggs and ham are delicious!

Santa Claus Came to Town

Santa Claus came to visit the children in the Daycare one morning.  The kids were able to sit in his lap, get their picture taken, and told him what they wanted for Christmas.  Santa even gave everybody candy canes!  We hope everyone stays on the “Nice List” for Santa!

St. Jude’s Trike-A-Thon

We recently held our Annual St. Jude’s Trike-A-Thon to raise money for St. Jude’s Research Hospital.  We were able to raise over $450!  Way to go kids!  The children had a great time riding their tricycles and bicycles to help others.
